Description

Candour Talent are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join our client’s small dynamic team.
This role is to provide support and to assist our client’s internal sales, purchasing and marketing departments.
Initially, your focus will be on supporting the Sales department. As you become more confident and experienced, you will have the opportunity to expand your responsibilities and contribute to the Purchasing and Marketing teams as well.
Location: Chepstow.
Employment Type: Permanent/Full Time.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 4pm – 1 hour for lunch.
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous internal sales experience and strong administration skills
  • Strong communication skills, confident in speaking with customers and handling sales enquiries
  • Excellent phone manner – able to engage and build rapport with customers and suppliers.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
  • Have a basic understanding of math/percentages etc.

Responsibilities

Sales:

  • Manage inbound sales enquiries and distribute accordingly
  • Process customer orders and keep customers informed of delivery dates
  • Following up on quotations to customers
  • Updating customer records
  • Working with the purchasing department for updates on delivery dates

Purchasing:

  • Liaise with suppliers for delivery dates for orders and update systems accordingly
  • Updating supplier records
  • Updating price lists for suppliers
  • Conduct market research analysis (looking at competitors for pricing)

Marketing:

  • To assist with preparations for Exhibitions.
  • To provide support for any marketing campaigns
