DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join Jersey Post.
This role is key to supporting sales operations, customer service, and administrative processes related to the sale and distribution of collectable products.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for heritage and collectables, and excellent customer service experience.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  1. Proven experience in an administrative, customer service, or sales support role.
  2. Familiarity or interest in heritage collectibles, or cultural products is a strong asset.
  3. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work to tight deadlines.
  6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  7. A collaborative and enthusiastic approach to work.
  8. Demonstrable experience of Microsoft Office applications Word and Excel.
  9. Excellent organisational skills.
  10. Team player with strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  11. Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide sales administration, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  2. Process customer orders, maintain accurate records in the CRM or order management system, track shipments and provide customers with updates.
  3. Handle enquiries from collectors, dealers, and the general public via phone, email, and in person.
  4. Manage inventory and stock levels and coordinate with fulfilment and logistics teams.
  5. Prepare and maintain sales reports, customer databases, and mailing lists for marketing campaigns.
  6. Reconcile end-of-day sales and reporting, manage customer account balance and process customer payments online.
  7. Assist in the preparation and distribution of promotional materials, newsletters, and catalogues.
  8. Support the planning and execution of marketing events, exhibitions, and product launches.
  9. Monitor product releases, ensuring timely updates to websites and sales platforms.
  10. Ensure compliance with pricing policies, financial procedures, and departmental guidelines.
  11. Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to align on product timelines and communications.
