Description

Role: Sales Administrator
Location: Motherwell depot
Reports to: Depot Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)

WHO WE ARE:

Oilfast are the fastest growing and now one of the largest fuel distributors in Scotland. In 11 years, we have grown to a level where we have 10 depots across the UK (mostly in Scotland). We have a large fleet of tankers and flatbeds delivering diesel, gas oil, home heating oil, lubricants, AdBlue®, gas bottles and fuel tanks out of those depots to a range of agricultural, commercial and domestic customers. We also sell fuel cards for drawing out of our network of sites across the country.
We are a very ambitious company with a great team full of experience and enthusiasm. We are looking for a like-minded individual for this role.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • A high degree of self-motivation and drive
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • Must be computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills (email, telephone)
  • Forklift truck experience preferred
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • A confident and determined approach
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • The ability and desire to sell, if necessary

Responsibilities

To work as part of a small team dealing with customer orders, banking, admin and customer pricing. The role will also involve some operational duties therefore experience of operating a forklift truck would be beneficial.
