Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Sales Administrator to support our fast-growing Commercial & Residential division. Based at our Bridport office, this is an entry-level position ideal for someone organised, motivated, and looking to build a long-term career in sales within the renewable energy sector.
You’ll work directly with the Head of Commercial & Residential, managing inbound enquiries, preparing quotations, keeping our CRM organised and up to date, and providing timely responses to clients. You’ll also coordinate internally with the factory and commercial teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
By taking ownership of key admin and coordination tasks, you’ll free up senior team members to focus on strategic sales, distributor relationships, and complex project work—making this role critical to the team’s overall success.
For the right person, this is the first step toward a Business Development role, with the opportunity to grow into a commercially focused position over the next 12–24 months, depending on performance.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Managing enquiry inboxes and ensuring all leads are logged and tracked
  • Assisting in the preparation and coordination of quotations
  • Uploading and updating CRM records and opportunity statuses
  • Liaising with our factory to confirm stock availability and order progress
  • Following up on cold enquiries or outstanding quotes
  • Processing Orders
  • Taking sales enquiry calls
  • Attending weekly pipeline meetings
  • Responding promptly to urgent client or internal requests
  • Supporting the team with administrative prep for meetings, site visits, and trade events
  • Beginning to shadow and understand the business development process over time
