Description Mike's Bikes is looking for highly-motivated individuals to work as Sales Associates in our stores. In this role, you will develop relationships with our customers and provide assistance in choosing the perfect bicycle and gear. You will learn all about our products and share that knowledge with confidence and flair. You will continually strive to attain your sales goals through increased product knowledge and improved sales techniques. Candidates can expect to make between $19 and $23 an hour plus a bi-weekly bonus potential of $250. Key Responsibilities: General Ask customers the right questions and listen to their responses to understand their desires and goals in cycling; show them products and demonstrate the features that will benefit them. Have the expertise and confidence to close the sale. Learn and use the Mike’s Bikes Sales Path consistently and comfortably. Achieve proficiency in using LightSpeed to process sales without errors, create PIF Transfers, and avoid auto-adds. Work towards being able to process MikesBikes.com/Shipstation orders accurately and without error. Maintain relationships with customers using Trello (CRM) and provide great customer service and follow-up. Training Mike’s Bikes is a dynamic company, with new information to learn and absorb on a daily basis. It is the responsibility of the Sales Advisor to stay on top of new information that comes via the Morning huddle, HQ emails, coaching sessions with a manager and Myagi training Sales Advisors are required to keep current on assigned training from Industry brands, as well as Mike's Bikes' in house training. Housekeeping Sales Advisors participate in a rotation of housekeeping duties including cleaning bathrooms, dusting merchandise, and organizing merchandise Merchandise bikes, apparel, and accessories to ensure an asthetically engaging and well stocked sales floor Requirements Requirements Job Requirements Ability to work cooperatively with a large team Ability to quickly assess a situation and adapt your presentation style to best address the customer’s needs Must possess excellent problem-solving skills Ability to succeed in a goal-oriented, disciplined environment Physical Job Requirements Position requires standing or sitting in a visible and accessible spot in the store to engage customers when they enter the store Must be able to move about the store and talk to customers about inventory Must be able to lift 15-25 lb bikes while standing on a ladder, and descend the ladder with bike in hand Must be able to type at a computer for brief periods and read the information on the monitor Must be able to communicate with customers, both in person and over the telephone Must be able to use simple bicycle tools to make minor adjustments to bikes and other merchandise
