Overview of Responsibilities Proactively engaging customers while sampling products Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products Coordinating all event activities, including: Event setup and takedown Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings Managing sample supply and sample product inventory Preparing event recaps via SharePoint Maintaining program specific equipment Adhering to strict food safety guidelines Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base #li-dni Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent High energy with a passion for Sprouts product Thrives on customer engagement Ability to suggestively sell product Willingness to learn and grow Ability to follow cooking directions Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and support office Strong organizational skills Results-oriented mindset Problem solving skills Intermediate level computer skills Pay range The pay range for this position is $17.30 - $24.20 / hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
