As the Sales Analyst you will support our sales strategy and to utilise the ThoughtSpot data for our sales team. This role involves fulfilling multiple data requests from the team and becoming the product owner within the sales function. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset, capable of understanding complex data patterns and utilising advanced reporting and technical platforms such as ThoughtSpot. The successful candidate should have background in data analytics. The successful candidate report to VP, Sales.

EXPERIENCE WE THINK YOU’LL NEED:

  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced reporting and technical platforms (Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot (preferable))
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple data requests from the sales team.
  • Knowledge of the FMCG sector and digital commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with high degree of accountability, while also able to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with the sales team and effectively convey insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Analyse sales data and metrics using ThoughtSpot to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities our local teams can capitalise on.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards focused on specific market sectors to inform and enable our local sales teams. This will enable sales teams to better support our customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their data needs and provide customised analyses to support high value sales.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and address sales-related challenges.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives based on data-driven insights.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, including sales leadership and cross-functional teams.
