THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • 1+ years of sales analytics experience and proven knowledge/understanding of data systems
  • Some direct Sales and/or Brand Management experience with cross functional exposure to other Business Operations preferred
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to independently conduct in-depth data analysis AND use the data to develop strong, persuasive selling stories
  • Good understanding of Customer Management Process
  • Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Nielsen/IRI)
  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to successfully multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
  • Good interpersonal and time management skills. Must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Consumer-Packaged Goods industry is preferred

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting the Key Account Managers, Team Lead and NSD across VMS categories for Whitespace, Naturals/Specialty and Grocery channels by utilizing data to drive and support in-market implementation and ensure follow-up/tracking of strategic initiatives. Key areas of responsibility include supporting Key Account Managers in identifying and finding solutions to close in-market 4Ps gaps, improving financial forecasting for channel, and provide analytical support through utilization of multiple data sources. Additional responsibilities include supporting business performance in order to achieve company goals (including sales, profit, new item listings, promotional and deduction management) and support in building sustainable partnerships with key customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will…

  • Support Key Account Managers (KAM’s) with in-depth data analysis of category performance to support execution of 4Ps strategies.
  • Utilize data to measure and understand how strategies are working in-market, and make recommendations for opportunities to optimize performance.
  • Provide analysis of competitive promotion plans/activity and recommends promotional strategies where needed.
  • Perform in depth analyses using syndicated data and other data systems.
  • Measure performance and impact of initiatives. Communicates results effectively across the business.
  • Provide support as needed for business reviews in core Customers - provides national Brand/Category insights.
  • Support KAM’s to seek, create and develop new business opportunities to build new distribution and brand consumption.
  • Build internal and external sales and data presentations
  • Work closely with Supply Team to ensure Customer Service levels are met / exceeded
  • Maintain and facilitate day to day operations including promotional setups, new item setups, retailer portals and daily sales monitoring
