JOB DESCRIPTION

The opportunity we offer is a progressive position that can be summarized in 2 steps:
Firstly, our short-term need is to integrate to the sales team a person with strong sales analysis skills capable of acting as a pillar of the sales team capable to manage the production & analysis of complex sales reports and then, suggest operational or strategic recommendations to the team.
Secondly (approximately 3 to 6 months after starting the position), we are looking for someone interested in taking over the management of a few minor regional client accounts.
Your manager will be the Director of Sales – Canada, and you will be expected to work closely with the Canada, USA Sales, Finance and Demand Planning teams as part of your duties.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS SOUGHT

  • Undergraduate degree (Business Administration) or any other field of study deemed relevant to the role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Bilingualism essential both orally and in writing (French and English) in order to communicate easily with our colleagues and clients
  • Have a strong interest in data analytics
  • Proficiency in the Office suite (advanced Excel level, Power Query).
  • Experience in the development of analysis tools (Excel, Power BI an asset)
  • Sense of organization, priority management and initiative
  • Be a facilitator of change
  • Be a rigorous person

Responsibilities
  • Perform sales data analysis
  • Perform analysis and production of opportunity reports to support the sales team in business development
  • Perform analysis and reporting of sales vs. budgets for the sales team
  • Review sales estimates with the team and communicate to the demand planning team
  • Validation of promotions in the internal system to ensure that promotions are executed as expected
  • Creation of dashboards / ‘’Scorecards’’ for certain strategic clients
  • Responsible for business development with regional clients
  • Create essential documents for budget planning
  • Develop presentations for clients (business reviews, product presentations, promotional plans)
  • Schedule meetings with customers to present new products, promotional plans and review business opportunities
  • Maintain the promotional plan for the Canada and USA sales team
  • Share information with internal teams related to the listing and removal of products from customers
