POSITION SUMMARY:

We have an immediate position open for a Sales and Administrative Assistant who will be a part of the team at our ever growing, fast-paced Wholesale and Retail firm.
This talented individual will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with day-to-day Administrative duties and other department/company projects. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and professional demeanor, someone who is assertive and who takes initiative!
It is important that the candidate works well independently and with the team. We require someone who is VERY organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-past environment.
We are looking for someone who is motivated to work hard and who is excited to have the opportunity to grow within our Admin and Warehouse Operations! Individual who is eager to take on challenges and help the company grow!

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Sales and Good communication skills.
  • Booking keeping knowledge, Invoicing and Estimating.
  • Experience in Garage Doors, Entry Door and Window industry will be an asset.

SPECIFIC SKILLS

  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer sales enquiries
  • Inventory Management
  • Warehouse
  • Compile data, statistics and other information
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
