JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As a Sales and Applications specialist you will be responsible for Point of Care Ultrasound in Finland. You will own the sales number, strategy and product support for your customers, and using your commercial and clinical experience, protect and gain market share. You will own the entire sales process, this will include quoting, doing clinical demo’s and closing projects. There will be a need to work closely with other members of the team and also the wider team such as Clinical Applications, Service, Marketing and product developers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Compiling lists of prospective customers and sales leads. Follow up as necessary
  • Working with sales leaders and sales representatives to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities
  • Providing training to all sales team members on strategy and product offerings
  • Making cold calls to potential customers where required
  • Providing pricing strategy and ensure pricing compliance for segment opportunities
  • Estimating date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the company’s production and delivery schedules
  • Forecasting orders and sales of assigned territory and submit monthly report
  • Representing the company at trade association meetings to promote product and company
  • Deliver competent clinical product demonstrations in the clinical setting to ensure sales success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor´s or master´s degree in medical, healthcare, business or related field (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
  • Previous Healthcare sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Able to travel across Finland. Own a Driver´s license, as the role requires visiting customer sites in Finland, occasionally abroad.
  • At least two of the following core experiences (+ 3 years)
  • Sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation in a complex sales

environment involving multiple decisionmakers/ influencers in Healthcare business.

  • Healthcare service experience, preferable in Ultrasound, Point of Care.
  • Experience in customer facing role(s).

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Previous experience in sales and/or clinical applications of Ultrasound
  • Ability to clinically demonstrate medical ultrasound in Point of Care areas of the hospital.
