Loch Ness Ice Cream is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company who work closely with all our clients directly, no big call centres and people who don’t understand our customer’s business or know who they are. We work with our customers directly, managing their accounts and assisting them whenever needed. Working to achieve individual needs and allow companies to grow together, being a small business we have the capability to adapt and assist other businesses with their individual requirements.
Our brand Loch Ness Ice Cream has strived to create a premium, luxury product available throughout Scotland, whilst keeping the prices at a level appropriate to the market. With continuous development of flavours and products to suit a wide range of customers from locals to tourists ensuring great feedback and lots of return custom.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic sales representative to join our growing team as we expand further across Scotland with our luxury ‘Loch Ness Ice Cream’ range. We have organically grown our customer base over the last couple of years but as we expand, we are looking for someone with the right skills and expertise to help us tap into new markets.
We have a personable approach with our customers, building relationships so great communication and people skills are important.
This is an exciting role, with the opportunity to earn performance related bonus.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Driving licence with no more than 3 points
  • Proven experience in sales or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar sales role would be advantageous
  • Ability to manage own route plan and diary
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with others.
  • Driven to achieve and exceed sales targets, helping to grow the business
  • Team player and able to help where needed within the business when required.

  • Provide samples of our ice cream range and tailor to their business needs - i.e. 5 litre scooping cabinets or 130 ml tubs
