It’s not that complicated. There’s plenty of sunshine, a buzzing pool scene and lots of local flavor. We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Coordinator to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit. Essential Functions & Responsibilities 1. Must Distribute daily incoming leads both electronic and via phone to appropriate Sales/Catering Team Members based upon office deployment. 2. Qualify initial inquiries to assist sales team with lead volume as needed 3. Redirect Sales related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team 4. Act as a liaison with other departments or functions (Operations, Front Office, F&B, etc.) 5. Gather and submit all daily, weekly, and monthly reports 6. Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs, ex: Client amenities, gift certificates, individual reservation requests, proposals, site visit assistance and contracts 7. Assist with customer site inspections when necessary 8. Participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients, including but not exclusive to: Sales Meetings, BEO/Resume Meeting, Pre-Convention Meetings and Planning Visits 9. Maintain office inventories, supplies, and equipment 10. Must be courteous and gracious, consistently providing professional, friendly, and engaging service 11. Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, and verbal instructions 12. Be familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements 13. Be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times Core Competencies 1. High-School diploma or GED required 2. Two-year hotel or related experience preferred 3. Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language 4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 5. Ability to multitask 6.
