Details: A Dymocks' education company, Dymocks Tutoring is looking to be the market leader in tutoring services for Primary and High School students. If you'd like to be involved in a new business committed to great student outcomes get in touch today. About You: This is a sales and customer service role. That means you provide sales support to assist customers in purchasing services from Dymocks Tutoring and then provide post-sales support (aka customer service) to ensure that our valued customers are always delighted with the service they receive. Your duties will include: Taking customer sales calls Taking customer service enquiries including providing support with enrolments and access to online systems General administration related to sales and customer service Keeping the hub locations in order to present the brand well to current and prospective customers Working as part of a team to ensure that the shift, across locations, is effective and completes allocated tasks Prior experience in sales and customer support is essential. Criteria include: Genuine, friendly, vibrant and welcoming personality A love of sales and meeting customer needs Excellent time management and organisational skills Good written communication skills and a high degree of attention to detail You will have or need to obtain a current Working with Children Check or equivalent A high level of proficiency using office productivity software Desirable but not essential: Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable but not essential Location: This role will cover any of our five hubs: Parramatta, Burwood, Chatswood, Epping, and Hurstville. Each hub is conveniently located within walking distance of its respective train station. Sales and Customer Service Officers are expected to be flexible and capable of working across multiple hubs. While you will have a primary location based on your preference, we anticipate that you will be available to support other hubs as needed. Hours and Remuneration: This is a casual role with the following available shifts which you should nominate when applying: Monday to Fridays, 3 pm to 8:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 am to 6 pm A mix of weekday and weekend e.g. Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday (inclusive) The business operates during school terms on the same hours as it does in term. Leave is generally limited to school holidays and there is a 3 week mandatory shut-down over Christmas. This role is covered by the the Miscellaneous Award.
