Job Title: Sales Administrator
Location: Hill Ridware, WS15
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: From £12.21 per hour
Hours: Flexible shifts available – 3 to 4 days per week, 09:00 – 17:00
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator on a temp-to-perm basis for a well-established food manufacturer specialising in crisps. Based at their rural factory in Hill Ridware, this varied role will involve administration, customer service, and support for sales functions. The role requires flexibility and a hands-on approach in a small, friendly team.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Confident telephone manner and ability to resolve queries
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and time management
  • Commercially aware with basic numeracy and Excel skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SAGE, and CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to rural location)
Responsibilities

ADMINISTRATION TASKS:

  • Processing sales orders and liaising with customers to confirm details
  • Creating despatch paperwork and raising invoices
  • Booking deliveries through couriers and third-party logistics
  • Handling online and telephone consumer sales
  • Responding to customer service queries and complaints

SALES SUPPORT TASKS:

  • Maintaining relationships with existing trade customers
  • Selling in offers, promotions, and new products
  • Managing pricing and customer account details
  • Visiting key stores and attending sampling days
  • Generating and pursuing new customer leads
  • Attending trade shows and reporting on competitor activity
  • Creating call plans and reviewing monthly performance with the Commercial Director
