Job description:
The Sales and Events manager will develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve catering revenue targets for Indian cuisine events and special occasions and will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with corporate clients and event planners.
Key responsibilities include:
Working with the catering sales team and setting revenue goals
Developing sales strategies to expand the client base
Negotiating contracts and pricing for catering services
Collaborating with culinary and operations teams to ensure successful event execution
Coordination with hotels for the events booking and operation
Conducting site visits and food tastings for potential clients
Staying informed about Indian cuisine trends and market conditions
Creating compelling sales presentations to showcase catering services
Preparing and analyzing sales reports
Qualifications:
Proven experience in catering sales or related sales role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and catering industry trends
Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Bachelor’s degree
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Indian cuisine and be able to tailor offerings to client needs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
