JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales/Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, strong communication abilities and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role requires a blend of creativity and practicality, ensuring that every event runs smoothly while maximising guest satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in event management or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written to liaise effectively with guests and suppliers.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Manage budgets and negotiate contracts with guests, suppliers and venues.
  • Implement upselling strategies to enhance event offerings and increase revenue.
  • Supervise event staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support throughout the event process.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.
  • Handle guest services with professionalism, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of event logistics, including schedules, budgets and post-event evaluations.
  • Foster relationships with local businesses and organisations for potential partnerships .
