The Playroom, Charlotte’s leading rehearsal and creative space since 1994, is seeking a Sales & Events Manager to help grow our business through strategic sales initiatives, community involvement, and dynamic event programming. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a proven track record in sales and a strong background in arts and entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase bookings, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Plan, promote, and manage events that strengthen The Playroom’s presence in the local arts and entertainment community.
- Build relationships with artists, industry professionals, and community organizations.
- Drive marketing initiatives including social media campaigns, email outreach, and local promotions.
- Represent The Playroom at industry and community events, building visibility and brand recognition.
Qualifications
- Proven history of building sales and growing business revenue.
- Experience in arts, music, or entertainment industries strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and networking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
