At Floor Country Canada, we are looking for people that are passionate about sales & interior design. We are seeking a hands-on and enthusiastic sales consultant with interior designer background to join our team. As a member of our team, you would be working directly with clients on your projects to create beautiful spaces, that deliver on client’s needs and wants.
Floor Country Canada is more than just a flooring store. We provide our clients with a full rage of services from affordable interior design, cabinetry, stone counter tops, window coverings, kitchen, bath & home renovations to project completion. We simplify the journey so our clients can focus on enjoying their beautiful homes.
We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years of sales experience and interior design background.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Diploma/certificate in interior design
  • 2+ years of sales experience and interior design
  • Passionate about creating stunning interiors and providing exceptional customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Ability to work with tape measure and read blueprints
  • Excellent computer and math skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Positive attitude, willing and quick to learn, hardworking, problem-solving
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License & have access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

As the successful candidate your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting customers, asses their needs, guide customer decisions and secure the sale
  • Travel within the city for in home designs consults and site measurements
  • Provide customers with estimates on their projects
  • Create and draft preliminary space plans when require and provide clients with material samples
  • Inputting orders/quotes into the computer system and confirms availability of product.
  • Establishing proactive communication with customers to ensure understanding of product ordered, installation process, product care and warranty information
  • Informing customer of installation dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer, using email or telephone
  • Coordinating with installers and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects
  • Conducting site visits to assess project progress and address any issues that may arise
  • Actively seeking opportunities to network and build relationships to promote business growth
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio, promotions and new products
