QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are on the search for a Sales and Marketing Administrator to join the award-winning Sydney Showground team.
This newly created, permanent, full-time role will support our Sales and Marketing Department by driving efficiencies, strengthening our brand, and helping deliver strategies that showcase Sydney Showground as one of Australia’s premier major event venues.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales Team to coordinate marketing campaigns, deliver engaging digital content, and assist in developing sales tools that help attract high-profile clients and events to Sydney Showground, including ENGIE Stadium.
This is a highly collaborative role where you will gain hands-on experience across marketing, sales and operations.
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will have exposure to a broad range of activities, from digital campaigns and media partnerships to client engagement and sales support. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, creative environment where ideas are encouraged, and your contribution directly impacts our success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Support

  • Write and schedule content updates for the Sydney Showground website
  • Coordinate with clients and agencies to deliver social and digital content on time
  • Assist in preparing newsletters, press releases, and invitations
  • Manage RSVP systems and client function communications
  • Maintain and update marketing collateral and digital assets
  • Support content delivery to media partners and across social media platforms
  • Develop marketing briefs for creative projects and digital campaigns

Sales Support

  • Assist in developing and maintaining sales proposals, templates, and presentations
  • Help prepare case studies, testimonials, and other sales assets
  • Support the organisation of client familiarisation events and tradeshows
  • Research new sales opportunities and update the CRM database

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • A positive “can-do” attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite / Canva
  • Social media knowledge (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with tight deadlines
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing tea
