Located in the heart of Dubai, we offer a range of pottery classes, workshops, and unique pieces for sale. We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Associate to manage our social media and the reception area n the studio.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Social Media Marketing Specialist to manage and grow our social media platforms while also fulfilling receptionist duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and a passion for pottery and the arts. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our online presence, and providing outstanding customer service at our studio.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and schedule compelling content (images, videos, captions) for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, fostering a sense of community.
- Collaborate with the studio team to promote classes, workshops, and special events.
- Analyze social media metrics to track performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Receptionist Duties:
- Greet and assist customers warmly as they enter the studio.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about classes, workshops, and products.
- Manage appointments and bookings for classes and events.
- Maintain and assist the office manager with administrative tasks as needed.
- Handle customer payments and maintain accurate records along with office manager.
- Must have excellent experience in booking, and modifying appointments online.
-Must have a good knowledge in accounting and bookkeeping.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years experience in social media marketing, preferably in the arts or creative industry.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Proficiency in customer service and receptionist skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce visually appealing content.
- Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Ability to multitask and work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
