SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR-KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Sales strategy development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve site revenue targets and expand market share for Heartwood Collection’s two brands and our ‘Pub with Rooms’ business.
  • Marketing leadership: Oversee the implementation of innovative marketing campaigns, from digital marketing to traditional advertising channels, to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and convert leads into regular guests.
  • Loyalty, customer relationship management (CRM) and gifting: Build and nurture long-term relationships with our guests via digital platforms. Drive our digital marketing agenda via strong KPI setting and ongoing management.
  • Central reservations: Support the development of a Central Reservations function for the business that can drive key seasonal events.
  • Brand strategy: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints and communications, strengthening Heartwood Collection’s position as a premium, environmentally-conscious brand in the marketplace.
  • Team management & development: Lead a team of passionate sales and marketing professionals, ensuring they are motivated, skilled, and aligned with business goals. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Market research & analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and guest needs to adjust strategies and stay ahead of market shifts. Use data-driven insights to optimise sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Budget & resource management: Manage sales and marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively across channels to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Sales forecasting & reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and detailed reports to senior leadership, highlighting progress toward objectives, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions.
  • Collaboration with other departments: Work closely with the food and drink development teams, operations, and the finance function to ensure product offerings align with market demands and are positioned effectively.
Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Director to join our team and elevate our brand, drive revenue, and lead a team of passionate sales and marketing professionals.
As the Sales & Marketing Director at Heartwood Collection, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive growth, increase brand visibility, and ensure market competitiveness. This role requires a deep understanding of sales processes, marketing tactics, consumer behaviour, and team leadership. You will work closely with the executive team to define business objectives, set achievable sales goals, and enhance the guest journey.
The role will be based at our Head Office in Teddington, Middlesex, conveniently located right next to the train station.
