• Experience in the book industry would be advantageous, but not a requirement

• Tasks will involve garnering product and curriculum knowledge, marketing, communication, sales presentations, working closely with the Sales Manager
• Manage various responsibilities, including overseeing retailer submission grids, liaising with distributors, and organizing events
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers
• Identify and pursue sales leads, with a particular focus on online and distance learning opportunities
• Report on results and analyst data
• Negotiate trading terms with customers, including distributors, key accounts, academic institutions, public libraries and potentially corporate sales
• Provide insights into the changing needs of customers, especially purchasing decisions, pricing models and any other challenges than may hinder sales.
• Evaluate and analyse the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns to ensure sales teams are fully supported in adapting to the evolving print and eBook industry
