Description:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Performance is measured based on achievement of occupancy, marketing and personal performance plans.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have experience in sales/marketing in the senior living or related industry
- Must have experience training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining and managing staff
- Must have computer experience in utilising databases, mail merge with graphic design/newsletter experience
Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Publisher and Powerpoint presentation
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assists in the development and execution of the community outreach/sales strategy under the direction of the Assistant General Manager.

· Public Relations - Keep all data on community contacts and influencers electronically and in files
- Implements successful sales practices including enquiry and tour management, creative follow-up, lead-base documentation and analysis to ensure success
- Works closely with all Staff to ensure sales tours and enquiries are managed during any absence
- Provides documentation for arrivals and departures handled by the Staff
- Participation in weekly management team meetings
- Plan and develops of a monthly and quarterly calendar of events and newsletter to promote the residence.
- Provide ongoing support to front line staff, in managing off-hours inquiries and customer relations issues
- Promote the consistency of appropriate aesthetics of residence environments by the day and season, including daily walk-about and presentation of show suites etc.
- Organizes and produces weekly and monthly sales reports as required
The objective will be to raise awareness, create interest, create and integrate partnerships, host group, private and organizer tours coordinate and implement senior’s group and other marketing events that provide exposure to our customers and influencers.
OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Develop quarterly marketing plan with Sales team.
- Handle branding as assigned by management.
- Organize community sponsorships, outreach events.
- Provide group and professional tours.
- Marketing Newsletter with the assistance of Recreation
- Develop a plan for social media and video production, assist with developing ad campaigns.
- Assistance in sales/back up to sales team as required.
Complete a weekly outreach report communicating what groups you have meet with each week and the details of the groups you plan to meet with the following week. Such as:
- Churches
- Synagogues
- Community and Senior Centres
- Banks and other local businesses
- Doctors’ Offices and walk- in clinics
- Pharmacies
- Social workers
- Case Managers
- Hospital Discharge Planners/ Coordinators
- Realtors and do presentations at Real Estate Offices
