Work Hive Solutions helps hotels, motels, and venues find the staff they need to keep things running smoothly. We’re a growing company in the hospitality staffing space, and we’re looking for a Sales Intern who’s excited to get real-world sales experience and learn directly from our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Call potential hospitality businesses (hotels, motels, restaurants, etc.) to introduce our services.
  • Add and organize new leads in our CRM system.
  • Work closely with our Sales Development Rep (SDR) to follow up on leads and support closing deals.
  • Keep notes and track outreach activity so nothing slips through the cracks.

What We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable talking on the phone and connecting with new people.
  • Organized and able to keep things neat in a CRM.
  • Positive, motivated, and eager to learn.
  • No prior sales experience needed — just bring the energy and willingness to learn.
  • Perfect for students studying Business, Marketing, or Communications (but open to anyone interested in sales).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong interest in marketing, sales, or business development.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Basic understanding of negotiation techniques and customer service principles.
  • Experience or coursework related to technology sales or technical sales is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Previous experience in retail sales or inside sales is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

DUTIES

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Support outside sales efforts by conducting market research and identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on account management tasks, including maintaining client relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in B2B sales activities, including cold calling and direct sales efforts to generate leads.
  • Utilize CRM software to track interactions with clients and manage sales pipelines effectively.
  • Conduct product demos and assist in upselling strategies to enhance customer engagement.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
  • Help create content for marketing materials, including social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Provide support for territory management initiatives by identifying key accounts and potential leads.
