JOB DESCRIPTION
This unique opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team to add to our continued success allows autonomy for the successful candidate to grow their department in line with the Company’s Business Strategy and targets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the majority of their working hours, and they are welcome to work from home or base themselves in the National Office in Worcestershire as the role requires, following their successful completion of probation. This role includes the benefit of a car allowance.

WORK EXPERIENCE
· 2+ years in a Sales Role
· Water Industry Experience (preferable)
QUALIFICATIONS
· English, Maths, Science and ICT GCSE or equivalent
· A-Level or Level 3 NVQ, foundation degree, HND or DipHE, in a relevant field (preferable)
· Prince2 qualification would be advantageous.

This role provides opportunity for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to utilise their skillset in achieving sales targets and objectives through effective; marketing, bid writing, surveying, estimating, negotiation, lead generation and account management.
The Sales and Marketing Manager will be an integral part of implementing sales and marketing strategies in accordance with the business strategy, branding, and ethos; and will be required to utilise effective techniques to engage in and build new client relationships. The successful candidate will also be responsible for writing bids supported by an extensive portfolio of Accreditations and Registrations to enable successful procurement of new business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing their department in line with the Company’s business strategy through:
· Collecting, analysing and summarising data and trends
· Identifying market opportunities through understanding industry and client requirements and identifying appropriate bid opportunities
· Prepares and executes marketing action plan
· Achieves sales and marketing financial objectives through planning and execution including lead generation, surveying, estimating, negotiating and bid writing
· Developing rapport with new clients through efficient account management
· Recruiting, selecting, mentoring and training new employees in the department
· Managing new contracts through start up and initiation, ensuring seamless transfer to Project Management Team.
