Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our fundraising agency’s sales and marketing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, and coordinating the sales and marketing strategies that drive donor acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role is pivotal in achieving our mission to connect charities with committed donors and enhance fundraising outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve donor acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Lead, train, and manage a team of sales representatives to meet performance objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with charity clients to understand their fundraising goals and provide tailored solutions.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

Marketing Planning and Execution:

  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract donors.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials, digital content, and advertising campaigns.

Manage the organisation’s online presence, including social media platforms, websites, and email campaigns.

Client and Donor Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential charity partners.
  • Develop strategies for donor retention and engagement, focusing on long-term support.

Implement and analyse feedback mechanisms to improve donor experiences.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyse sales and marketing performance metrics to ensure objectives are met.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Utilise CRM systems to manage donor and client data effectively.

Compliance and Industry Standards:

  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with relevant legislation, ethical standards, and PFRA guidelines.
  • Stay informed about fundraising regulations and best practices in the industry.
