Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Sales & Marketing Manager to lead efforts that drive ridership, group sales, and visibility for the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. This is not a passive management role — the ideal candidate will be comfortable creating content, launching campaigns, tracking performance, and personally ensuring results.
This role oversees the Group Sales Coordinator and collaborates with local partners, regional organizations, and community stakeholders to strengthen the railroad’s presence and offerings. While the position allows for remote work, on-site work is required on a rotating basis between the Chama, NM and Antonito, CO depots to ensure balanced visibility, leadership, and engagement at both locations.
What You’ll Do

• Manage sales and marketing budgets.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Support themed and special event trains with tailored marketing strategies.
• Provide monthly reporting on campaign ROI, sales, and partnerships.
