Kenect Recruitment is proud to be working with a well established and growing company within the manufacturing and construction industry. We are currently recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Manager to lead an experienced commercial team, reporting directly to the General Manager.
This is a pivotal leadership role that involves overseeing all sales and marketing activity, managing a team of professionals, and driving the business forward by delivering exceptional customer service and revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships, ensuring accuracy in estimating/quoting processes, and aligning all commercial strategies with operational and brand objectives.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or equivalent in Sales, Marketing or Business
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial leadership role
  • Strong background in quoting, estimating, and CRM systems
  • Proven experience managing marketing campaigns and sales targets
  • Manufacturing or construction background preferred but not essential
Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and develop a high performing sales team
  • Set and audit KPIs for the commercial department
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure sales strategies align with capacity and margin goals
  • Oversee and refine the quoting and estimating processes
  • Deliver a data driven marketing plan in line with budget
  • Prepare and present monthly reports to the board
  • Analyse market trends and shape effective marketing strategies
  • Manage and grow social media presence and digital content
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
  • Foster a high performing, customer centric team culture
