Working within a friendly and collaborative management team, you will report to the Sports Centre Manager and play a key role in the day-to-day running and strategic development of the Centre.
In this varied and hands-on role, you will lead an efficient front-of-house team, including a Head Receptionist, Receptionists, and a Marketing Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for producing the Centre’s timetable of events, developing engaging promotional content for the website and social media platforms, and overseeing marketing campaigns that support membership growth and community engagement. You will also provide financial reports to the Centre Manager, helping to monitor sales performance and manage expenses.

A strong focus on customer service is essential, as is the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver a welcoming and professional experience for all users.
To be successful in this role, you will be educated to a good standard and have proven experience in team management and working collaboratively within a busy environment. You will need excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of customer experience and operational efficiency. Experience in managing social media platforms and creating marketing content is essential.
As part of the Centre’s management team, you will be expected to demonstrate a calm and professional manner, act on your own initiative, and apply sound judgement in a fast-paced setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about promoting health, fitness, and community engagement.
