With the launch of a brand-new corporate events space, we are looking for a driven and creative Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our commercial growth. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the sales and marketing strategy of a growing business while enjoying the autonomy to make a real impact. Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

This is a hands-on, multi-skilled position where you’ll take full ownership of the events process, from initial enquiry and conversion through to on-the-day delivery. You’ll work closely with the general manager to ensure each event runs smoothly while hitting sales targets and maximising revenue opportunities. You will also lead marketing and promotion of both the events and visitor attraction sides of the business.
It’s essential you have a strong knowledge of Liverpool’s corporate market and established networks within the local business community. Your ability to build and manage partnership appointments with corporate clients will be key to driving Quirky Quarter forward as a preferred venue for business events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive and manage inbound and outbound sales for private hires, parties, corporate bookings, and seasonal events
  • Develop and nurture strong partnerships and appointments with Liverpool’s corporate sector to grow business opportunities
  • Create regular content and posts for social media accounts to engage with customers and promote events
  • Manage email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp to drive bookings and maintain customer relationships
  • Coordinate all event logistics, acting as the main point of contact from enquiry through to delivery
  • Work closely with the general manager and operations team to ensure exceptional customer service and smooth execution
  • Create and update event packages and promotional materials tailored for corporate clients
  • Manage booking systems, customer databases, and follow-up processes efficiently
  • Produce accurate sales forecasting and monthly reports for senior management
  • Lead marketing efforts including content creation and social media posts to promote events and the venue
  • Represent Quirky Quarter at industry events and networking opportunities, building a strong local profile
