Responsibilities

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and coordinate the company marketing and sales activity
  • Work closely with engineering department to coordinate all prospective and existing customer communication including quotation and follow up activity.
  • Oversee day-to-day sales, monitoring, and forecasting to better understand the market
  • Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Maintain discipline of employees under his/her supervision in accordance with established rules and regulations.
  • Attends sales seminars, sales meetings, or educational activities to stay abreast of the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market place.
  • Coordinate sales travel and attend trade shows as required

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

  • Direct the response to customer requests for pricing and design to engineering manager.
  • Coordinate follow up activity for leads from sales calls and trade shows as required.
  • Lead the sales effort by developing field sales and customer contact action plans
  • Review and adjust pricing by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand
  • Develop marketing strategy, analyze trends and results
  • Accept special projects and other duties as assigned.

RELATED DUTIES:

  • Schedule frequent visits to customers and architects to provide assistance and increase sales.
  • Accept assignments from the company President and work closely with the engineering manager.
