POSITION OVERVIEW

EAK Ireland own and operate the Treetop Walk, Avondale which has been a phenomenal success with Irish visitors so we are already searching for further amazing locations. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Professional to drive growth, develop strategies, and build strong relationships in the travel and tourism sector. This role requires a professional who excels in identifying opportunities, forging partnerships, and creating effective sales and marketing campaigns to achieve measurable business results. The role will be largely off-site but will require regular visits to our sites in Avondale, Co Wicklow and Carlingford, Co Louth. Occasional travel to new treetop walk sites across Ireland & UK will also be required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong network of contacts within the industry, particularly among groups and tour operators, is desirable.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
  • Experience planning and executing events, with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing tools, with a solid understanding of digital marketing techniques.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive and goal-oriented approach, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • And / or at least 3 years experience working in a similar role.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
