Job Title: Sales and Operations Executive

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales and Operations Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new clients, maintaining existing relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of logistics operations. This dual-role requires a balance of strong sales acumen and operational oversight in the shipping and freight forwarding industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Identify potential clients and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and NVOCC services.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, and carriers.
· Prepare competitive quotations and proposals; follow up to convert leads into sales.
· Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
· Coordinate end-to-end logistics processes from booking to delivery.
· Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, customs brokers, and overseas agents to ensure timely movement of cargo.
· Prepare and verify shipping documents including Bills of Lading, invoices, and manifests.
· Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
· Ensure full compliance with international shipping regulations and client requirements.
· Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and provide timely updates on shipments.
· Address customer concerns with professionalism and ensure service excellence.
· Maintain records of shipments, client communications, and operational logs.
· Prepare regular reports on sales performance, shipment status, and client feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Bachelor’s degree.
· 2–5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or shipping operations.
· Strong understanding of shipping practices, and trade documentation.
· Proficient in MS Office and logistics management software.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
