Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule
  • Paid time off

Application Question(s):

  • Although we are in business since 1991, we operate like a “small company”, where we wear many hats. We do not believe in “middle management”. Sure, we have thousands of contractors out on the road, but there is a lot “doing” on this job. From the CEO to a regional scheduler - we do a lot of work ourselves.

Sure - we seek leaders, and no, you won’t be on the road doing audits (or even scheduling them), but there is plenty of hands-on work to do.
We do not have dedicated teams that will design your PowerPoints, create your Excels, tweak our CRM, and so forth.
Whether our titles are director, manager or supervisor - we all get our hands dirty.
Also, when we need something done, no one here ever says “It’s not my job!”

Please let us know how you feel about this!

  • Is your technology sufficient to work well from home?

You won’t be able to succeed working off a laptop. Conversely, if you have a solid computer with 2 or more screens, we know this will help ensure you succeed.
We also assume you have a decent webcam with good lighting. Too many people look very unprofessional in Zoom and Team meetings.
You don’t need podcast equipment or a studio, of course… But we want to ensure you can present yourself well from the very first meeting, without starting off on mute, with a terrible mic, and shoddy internet connection.

Are you able to handle this?

  • If you noticed, we posted a rather large salary range. The more business that comes in and the more you rock it, the higher it shall be/grow. It was difficult to articulate all of this on this Indeed posting, but flexibility is important, of course.

Are you willing to have a conversation about this? Does this sound fair to you?

  • In 2–3 sentences, please tell us about the most unexpectedly useful skill you’ve used at work that wasn’t in your job description.
  • What’s one thing you’ve learned about [brand audits/merchandising/ m shopping] that most people outside the industry don’t know?
  • Pretend you only have 30 minutes before a major deadline. Tell us what’s going through your head, in the exact words you’d say to yourself…!
  • Are you proficient in Shopmetrics and survey design? What are some desires that constitute a solidly-designed survey for an in-store audit? (For example - no double barrelled questions, no subjective questions..). What else?
  • We’d love to know a little bit about yourself! Please feel free to write anything that would help you stand out from the crowd. This would be a great way to introduce yourself. We’d love to know about expertise and successes you’ve had in the industry.
  • In the past, we’ve made the mistake of hiring people and then telling them what to do. We’d love to hire someone who can tell us what to do. Thoughts on this?
