The Sales and Procurement Specialist will manage procurement relationships, drive sales of scientific products and services through various channels and serve an identified group of key customers. This role cultivates positive customer connections, finds opportunities for expansion within the customer base, and achieves specified critical metrics including sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Establish and develop procurement level relationships in nominated accounts to cultivate customer dedication and allegiance. Lead all facets of the procurement touch points including contracts, tenders, pricing, and queries with a customer centric approach. Manage sales strategies and territory plans for designated accounts to meet or surpass goals. Harness marketing programs, consolidation, and eBusiness approaches with customer procurement teams to support sales achievement and to drive efficiency. Utilise sales data to improve sales efficiency and capture greatest return on investment. Actively participate in collaboration forums to share market trend insights, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback. Utilise available resources and develop strong internal relationships with support functions (including finance, contracts, technical support, sales operations, customer care, product management, and marketing) to enable the assigned customers. Deliver results through mostly virtual engagements and meetings with customers (min 15 meetings per week). Accurate use of CRM system and other reporting for accurate territory management. Constantly strive to improve selling skills, product, industry, and competitive market knowledge. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and participate in training and development programs as a means of continuous improvement. Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification or equivalent, preferably in business and/or scientific field. Previous sales experience valued. High standard of computer literacy. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Experience in sales, a solid understanding of sales and negotiation procedures. Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for sales and achieving results. Able to grasp technical products and their corresponding markets/customers. Remarkable interpersonal and communication capabilities and a skill for easily developing strong customer connections and rapport at every level of authority. Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks, effectively manage time, and consistently meet established deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and drive for self-development. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM, business analytics). Physical Requirements / Work Environment Position is primarily office-based with travel requirement or in field 10% of the time.
