WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A SALES APPLICATION SPECIALIST AT DAWN FOODS?

You have a strong customer and sales orientation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sweet baked goods and their production. Your commitment to helping customers succeed is outstanding.

Additionally, you meet the following profile:

• Completed vocational training as a master baker, pastry chef, or chef, or as a pastry chef/patissier.
• In-depth knowledge of sweet baked goods, recipes, and baking processes.
• Familiarity with industrial and artisanal production methods.
• Several years of experience in application technology or technical customer support, ideally in the sweet baked goods sector.
• Proficiency in German (negotiation level) and basic English skills.
• High willingness to travel (approximately 90% of working hours).
• Strong self-motivation and a well-structured approach to work.
• Flexibility and resilience to best meet customer needs.

PURPOSE AND OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The purpose of this role is to successfully present Dawn & Royal Steensma products and solutions to baking customers and support their optimal application.
This position is based in North and East Germany and reports to the Senior Business Development Sales Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A SALES APPLICATION SPECIALIST AT DAWN FOODS?

• Analyze the needs and requirements of our customers in the sweet baked goods sector.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and other support departments.
• Conduct regular customer visits.
• Develop and present tailor-made customer solutions from an application technology perspective.
• Provide on-site support for the technical implementation and adoption of new products.
• Deliver product presentations and training directly to customers or at our technical center.
• Represent our products at trade fairs, events, workshops, and customer meetings.
• Support the introduction of new products to the market.
• Conduct internal training sessions for the Sales team.
