Job Description The Sales Apprentice role will work alongside the Sales team to support sales generation, identify new sales leads and assist both the sales team and wider support functions. Daily activities will include engaging with new customers, exploring new opportunities, and contributing to core sales administration all with the overall goal of increasing the Sika brand presence, growing sales, and expanding the customer database. This is a field-based role with some office and home working and will involve regular interaction with both internal and external stakeholders across the business. In a structured, challenging, and rewarding environment, you will learn to identify customer needs, present solutions confidently, and contribute to business growth. In addition, we will provide full funding for your participation in the Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship, to be completed across an 18-month timeframe. Please note that a valid driving license is essential for this role. Qualifications Strong communication, numeracy, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrable interest in sales, business, and customer service. Basic IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Organisational skills and attention to detail. Some prior work experience or exposure to customer-facing roles is desirable. Willingness to travel or work in a field-based role as required. Commercial awareness and an enthusiasm for developing a career in sales.
