Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team for 20 hours per week in Cannock. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our sales efforts.

• Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner
• Offer product information and recommendations to meet customer needs
• Process sales transactions accurately using the till system
• Handle cash, card payments, and maintain a balanced cash drawer
• Maintain a tidy and well-organised sales floor
• Restock shelves and update product displays
• Assist with inventory management and stock checks
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
• Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly
• Stay informed about current promotions and special offers

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Enthusiasm for learning about products and sharing knowledge with customers
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
