Are you friendly, reliable, and enjoy helping people? We’re looking for a Sales Assistant to join our small but dedicated team at our local village grocery store. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to be part of the heart of the community.
About the Role:
As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be the face of our shop – serving customers, keeping the shelves stocked, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly day to day.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Serving customers at the till with a smile
· Restocking shelves and keeping the store tidy
· Checking dates and freshness of stock
· Assisting with deliveries and unpacking goods
· Helping customers find what they need
What We’re Looking For:
· Friendly, positive attitude
· Good communication skills
· Punctual and reliable
· Happy to work flexible hours, including weekends
· Experience in retail is a plus – but not essential. We’re happy to train the right person!
