Florist/Sales Assistant Role Description: As a Florist/Sales Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Store Manager, supporting the daily operations of the shop. Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up daily displays of fresh flowers to showcase in-store.
• Checking the quality and freshness of flowers regularly.
• Making flower bouquets and arrangements to the highest standards (training provided).
• Checking and preparing customer orders.
• Taking orders in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their selections.
• Serving customers at the till and ensuring smooth transactions.
• Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Stocking, tidying, and cleaning shelves.
• Handling cash and ensuring the safe custody of cash.
• Answering customer inquiries at the cash desk and following up on requests.
• Adhering to cashier policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 3 years in customer service (preferred).
