Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their Furniture/Nursery needs and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, basic math skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing Nursery items and Furniture
- Provide product information, answer questions, and address customer concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and arranging furniture displays
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchase
- Ensuring Social Media is updated on a regular basis
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English (Other languages are a plus)
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and calculating measurements
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and well-presented showroom
- Phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer needs
- Insight into social media and how this can benefit the business
