We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, extensive product range, and knowledgeable team. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Trade Counter Staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers in person and on the phone.
• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently (cash, card, and trade accounts).
• Provide technical support and product information to customers.
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the smooth operation of the shop.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-stocked trade counter area.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience working in a trade counter, builders’ merchant, or similar retail environment is essential.
• A strong understanding of roofing materials and construction products is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong numeracy skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
