ABOUT THIS JOB: Namify’s Sales Assistant position will be responsible for organizing and assisting across multiple mediums. The Sales Assistant will effectively execute administrative responsibilities of an assigned Sales Executive. The Sales Assistant position will be performed in-office at our manufacturing facility itself. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage outbound and inbound calls Assist customers in placing orders and answering questions Work in teams to achieve goals Provide exceptional customer service and providing a positive experience for clients Cross-train on company-wide manufacturing processes Cross-sell and up-sell products that will help brand our clients Resolve client concerns via phone, email and chat Communicate and articulate our product options to customers Promote and maintain open lines of communication with the sales, customer service, and operations management and teams Communicate with various departments to ensure information remains consistent and our dynamic company culture is maintained HubSpot follow up scheduling and managing sequences Processing client orders Presenting the best foot forward when it comes to front desk client experiences All other duties as assigned. Strong understanding of Customer Service Basic level of sales ability Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite Basic internet and computer navigation skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Organized and efficient Ability to work independently and stay on task Must be able to work in a sitting and standing position for 6+ hours a day Must be able to lift 30 pounds Must be able to communicate effectively with team members at all levels Must have great attention to detail, even with repetitive processes Must be able to follow instructions, both written and verbal Must be able to work under deadlines and quotas SPECIAL CONSIDERATION FOR: Previous customer service and/or sales experience THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Sales Executive SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:00pm (Full-time) WORK SPACE INFO: This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements. TRAINING: Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required. SAFETY: Namify enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe working environment. Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self-aid/buddy-aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested. In addition, the incumbent must accept that they have responsibility for maintaining the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to site leads and management on all safety issues.
