JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our store. This position requires a proactive approach to upselling and assisting customers with their needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is highly desirable (multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers positively.
  • A proactive attitude towards upselling products and enhancing the customer shopping experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.

  • Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling and processing payments.
  • Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
  • Manage time efficiently to balance multiple tasks during busy periods.
  • Provide support in answering customer queries via phone, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks.
