HANDS is a lifestyle design and gift store dedicated to curating the best of design from local and international makers, artists, and independent brands.
Founded in 2022, we are a small, locally-owned business bringing a new kind of concept store to Sydney—offering quality homewares, playful accessories, and meaningful gifts.

We’re looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Paddington team. You’ll help with every aspect of running the store:

• Provide excellent customer service with warmth and attentiveness
• Confidently manage high-volume, back-to-back service days
• Accurately handle stock operations, including picking online orders, unpacking deliveries, and maintaining an organised storeroom
• Uphold store presentation standards through regular cleaning, tidying, and merchandising support
• Contribute across all areas of the business as needed, working collaboratively with the team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous retail experience
• Exceptionally organised and an eye for detail
• Must have a professional and “can-do” attitude and attention to detail
• Positive attitude with a passion for people. Able to genuinely greet customers
• Available to work on rotational shifts, including weekends and available to cover some opening or closing shifts
• Excellent computer skills
• Fluent English
