Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

To work as part of a team of staff and volunteers to deliver high levels of customer service, to contribute to the day to day running of the charity’s retail outlets and to grow the business to support the long-term sustainability of the organisation. Grow personally and professionally as part of a dynamic team and undertake cleaning and showroom duties as required and assist with the rotation of stock.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with others in a team of staff and volunteers
  • Deal with telephone enquiries
  • Prepare, price and display stock items for sale
  • To serve customers on the shop floor
  • To ensure the showroom is well-presented, clean and tidy at all times
  • To schedule all deliveries and collections using our stock control system
  • Greet and assist customers
  • Operate till
  • Continually develop an understanding of the Company’s culture, products and reflect this in everyday performance
  • Take responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement
  • Any other duties that may reasonably be required
