ABOUT YOU

  • Lure fishing experience and knowledge is essential to be able to advise our customers accordingly
  • IT qualifications will be advantageous
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing position or retail environment is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and to use own initiative
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required (up to 20kg)
  • Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

ROLE

As the Sales Assistant your responsibility will be to ensure that daily operations at Predator Tackle run smoothly.
The daily duties will include communication directly with our customers, making sure that they have an exceptional experience at Predator Tackle by providing a friendly and attentive service to each customer by helping and advising them on the products that we supply and answering their questions. Answering phone calls and emails giving thorough and concise information as required, and taking orders over the phone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A customer-focused approach
  • Handling payment transactions with our point-of-sale system
  • Processing on line orders
  • Checking off deliveries
  • Carrying out in weekly and monthly stock-takes
  • Replenishing shelves
  • Checking that the floors are clean and tidy at all times
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Making sure routine tasks are carried out on a daily basis
  • Communicating with all team members
  • Being able to carry out handovers
  • Ensuring warehouse is clean and tidy
