Job Title: Part Time Sales Assistant

Position Type: Part-Time (8 hours per week / Working Saturday and some Sundays with notice).
Salary: *£12.30 per hour
*Applicants must be over 18 years of age this role includes the use of hot ovens, the age requirement is for Health and Safety purposes.. Please note advertised starting salary is for 21 and overs only; a reduced pay scale is applied for applicants under 21 years old in line with the DWP guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attitude: Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
• Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock.

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with their purchases, providing product information and recommendations.
• Sales: Drive sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
• Merchandising: Ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing, with products displayed attractively.
• Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
• Stock Management: Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organising stock.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and provide an excellent shopping experience.
