JOB OVERVIEW

Skoolkit is a leading independent supplier of school wear, with stores in Basingstoke, Eastleigh, Fareham, Havant, Totton and Newbury.
We currently have a permanent position available for immediate start at our Eastleigh branch.
The role would particularly suit a person who is reliable, responsible and able to work independently when required. The successful candidate should ideally have some retail experience, be well presented and approachable, punctual and flexible. Extra hours will be expected in our busy “Back to School” period and the ability to work under pressure at this time will be an advantage.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Hours Monday - Wednesday 09:00 to 17:30 & Saturday 09:00 to 17:00 Will be required to cover Holiday’s and Sickness

· Customer services
· Operating tills
· Processing cash and credit card transactions
· Ensuring the shop counter is always manned
· Keeping merchandise neat and tidy
· Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy at all times
· Stock Replenishment
· Processing deliveries
· Answering the telephone
· Adhering to Health & Safety policies
· After successful completion of the probation period, acting as a key holder with responsibility for opening and closing the store
